UA&P held an Appreciation Ceremony at PLDT Hall last February 12, 2024 for Joint Venture Audio Visual Lighting, Inc., represented by Mr. Oliver Yulo, Senior Managing Director, for their generous donation to the University. Joint Venture donated audio and lighting equipment currently used in PLDT Hall and ACB 302.
Joint Venture’s shared vision with UA&P
Mr. Jason de Villa, Managing Director of UA&P’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) emphasized the value of this donation to UA&P’s effort to promote digitally-enabled educational experiences in the university.
Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, the university President, also reiterated the university’s mission which is to instill our own philosophy of education which prioritizes values and virtues that come from the family. He also mentioned that UA&P’s role as educators is to complement the education of the children from within the family and not to replace them. The more effectively UA&P can engage its students in a digital world, the better it can fulfill this mission.
Mr. Oliver Yulo, who took some classes in the University, believes that UA&P played a major role in giving him motivation to pursue his passion for music, thus creating Joint Venture. The education that the university has provided him also became instrumental in his giving back to the University.
The University hopes to have future collaborations with Joint Venture in order to maintain their shared vision for education and for the University.
