Focus on Executive Education, Sustainable Development, Industry Research, and Investment Promotion
Manila, Philippines, 17 March 2025 — On March 3, 2025, University President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, along with UA&P representatives, hosted a luncheon meeting for the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Chairman Atty. Hilario “Larry” Paredes and BCDA officials.

The productive luncheon, held at the ALB Executive Lounge, focused on fostering collaboration between the BCDA and UA&P. The BCDA gave an overview of its ongoing projects and shared ideas for potential partnerships between the organization and the university. This partnership is seen as a crucial step toward strengthening the ties between education and national development.
Representatives from UA&P’s Continuing Real-World Education (CORE), Center for Research and Communication (CRC), and Center for Student Affairs – Office of Career Services (CSA-OCS) also engaged in the discussion. CORE explained the different executive and continuing education courses, while CRC outlined its flagship foundational courses and research services. CSA-OCS highlighted opportunities for students to gain experiences through internships and on-the-job training (OJT), exploring how the BCDA can contribute to these programs.
This meeting marks a significant milestone in UA&P’s efforts to build meaningful and strong partnerships with institutions that drive economic development, reinforcing the university’s commitment to providing real-world experiences for its students as part of the integral formation of the human person.
