I’m Ryan Go, a UA&P Stellar Scholar.
Athletic Scholar | UA&P Alumnus | BS Entrepreneurial Management Batch 2019
I found out about the Entrepreneurial Management Program in high school and something about it sparked my interest. I was told that you cannot graduate without a business. Others were scared of this but it was something that amazed me. Through my first two years of university, I was taught all the fundamentals of business. During my sophomore year, I joined the Volleyball Team. Throughout third year college, I was setting up my business Buenas Burrito Food Stall while balancing volleyball practice that would last until 10 pm. I was a dedicated student-athlete. As a scholar of UA&P, I learned how to manage multiple tasks and still excel in all of them.
As the years rolled by, I worked hard on my business, Buenas Burrito but it wasn’t sustainable. That’s when I met my business partner, Matthew. We opened several food stalls including Mamma Mia, Stark’s Cafe, Grill Depot, and Korean Food Zone. During this time, we also opened RJMC Business Registration Services and the best of all, The University Library Cafe by Corbeau Coffee Co. These all went fine until the pandemic happened but we didn’t let it stop us. We created Armstrong Digital – Social Media Marketing Agency and we now have clients all over the Philippines.
One thing that I learned from UA&P is that no matter the obstacle, there’s always a way around it. You just have to look hard and keep trying.
