Thinking back, I never knew that I’d be able to enter a prestigious university with a scholarship. It sure was more than what I could ever ask for. My entire journey of being a Stellar Scholar was really fulfilling and fun as I met different people who embodied excellence in academics and in their own different ways. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and grow holistically as the university opened up a lot of opportunities for me to blaze a trail. Being a scholar sure is challenging because I need to balance my academics along with other activities such as my work as a student assistant, my extracurriculars, and such. But I’ll never trade the years of experience I’ve built in the University for anything[…]. All of these wouldn’t be possible without the help of my colleagues, mentor, and of course the University. They are the reason why I continue to blaze a trail.
